Four Victims Wounded at Howe Park Sacramento - Large Unauthorized Party Erupts in Gunfire
On Saturday evening, an unapproved gathering of multiple hundreds of attendees at Howe Community Park in Sacramento's Arden-Arcade area turned violent when 20 to 25 gunshots filled the air as Sacramento County law enforcement were working to clearing the area.
How It Unfolded
Shortly after 6:30 PM, the SCSO was alerted about people potentially carrying concealed firearms at Howe Community Park in Sacramento. A follow-up call indicated a potential physical confrontation and individuals running from the park.
Air support was sent to the area and conducted an aerial search but failed to identify the reported fight.
Despite this, multiple hundreds of people had assembled at the location for what officials called an unlawful gathering. Responding deputies set up around the park, activated their vehicle emergency lights, and took about 15 minutes announcing over loudspeakers for people to leave using public address systems.
As deputies were in the process of dispersing attendees, 20 to 25 rounds of gunfire rang out — causing hundreds to flee in a panic.
Victims of the Shooting
Four gunshot victims — a female and three male victims, ranging in age through their 20s — were transported to area hospitals. Two of the victims had serious injuries, one victim had moderate injuries, and one was treated for minor injuries. All four were listed as stable. The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire Department provided medical assistance on scene.
At the Scene

Suspect Information
Through scanner communications, it was reported that a suspect vehicle — a Kia — was pulled over in Solano County with four occupants detained. Sheriff's deputies were heading to Solano County to pick up the suspects and return them to check here Sacramento. Surveillance footage confirmed two shooters were involved.
